IELTS- 3 million test taken this year

IELTS (International English Language Testing System) is the world’s most popular English language test. More than two million IELTS tests are taken each year.

Taking IELTS opens doors – it can help you live, study and work around the world. More than 9,000 organisations in over 135 countries accept IELTS, including government, academic and employment institutions.

IELTS is jointly owned by the British Council, IDP: IELTS Australia and Cambridge English Language Assessment.

Since April 2015, British Council Algeria has administered the IELTS tests for UKVI and IELTS Life Skills whilst all exams are held at Jardy Hotel premises.

The IELTS standard offer of IELTS Academic and IELTS General Training is not offered through the British Council, but through Language Solutions Algeria.

Within this section you will find free online resources and tips to help you prepare for your exam day, as well as information about studying abroad.
